Yumei Lin, PhD Research Scientist, Clinical Investigations
Dr. Lin specializes in the development of functional botanical products. She also coordinates research studies to evaluate the functions of ingredients and supplement product prototypes in humans. Her knowledge and expertise have contributed in developing and evaluating many important NUTRILITE™ products, including ClearGuard™, China’s DOUBLE X and bone health related products. Dr. Lin continues to contribute her expertise and is involved in nutrigenomics product development, nutrition and bone health research, and nutrition and joint health research. Dr. Lin was trained as nutritionist and received her Ph.D. in Nutrition from the University of California, Davis. After completing her degree, she held a faculty research position there and continues today to serve as an affiliate faculty member in the Nutrition Department. In addition, she actively serves on a committee to review grants and fellowship proposals for the United States Department of Agriculture’s education and research programs.
