Pete Debus
Farm Supervisor, Nutrilite Agricultural Research Farm

Pete oversees all farming functions concerning agricultural research projects directed towards new crops and new products and also improvement of existing varieties. His agricultural research projects focus on farming methods to assist all the Nutrilite farms in the efficient production of a wide variety of crops, including alfalfa, carrots and pomegranates. He manages the farm’s soil fertility program, which involves the sampling and analysis of the soil, application of natural minerals, and production and application of rich compost from natural plant materials to create an organic balance and grow vigorous healthy plants loaded with phytonutrients. He is also responsible for an integrated pest management program, the planting and maintenance of crops, and the coordination of harvesting with the processing facility.

Pete also maintains all of the landscaping around the production plant and the Ag Education Center for our visitors who tour here. He enjoys talking with visitors from all over the globe as he takes them out in the fields to explain the relationship between organic farming, healthy, contaminant-free plants and a good effective supplement.
