Dr. Murray is a well established and respected scientist in the areas of nutraceutical product development and industrial pharmacy and pharmaceutics. She holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Murray is a member of the Functional/Therapeutic group and focuses on integrating current and emerging pharmaceutical technologies into the development of nutritional supplements. In her years at the Nutrilite facility in Buena Park, California, Mary has applied her expertise towards the development and formulation of a number of NUTRILITE™ supplements, including Hair Skin and Nails, Echinacea, Digestive Enzymes, Carb Blocker, and most recently Vision Health with Lutein and IL-1 Heart Health. Her current areas of research include nutrigenomics-based products, nutrition and bone health, and nutrition and women’s health. Dr. Murray is an active member of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS), where she is the Chair of the Nutraceutical Focus Group. She is also a member of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP), where she is active in the Industrial Pharmacy Section.
